How can users retain visible, direct control in a physical interaction?
The project used massage as a concrete setting for human–machine collaboration: automation needed to provide a dependable path while preserving user control over position, force and movement.
The value of physical intelligence comes not only from automation but from whether a person can understand the system state and intervene at any moment.
Contributed as the project creator across the product concept and project presentation.
The project combined preset massage paths with a VR-guided free-control mode, using a live camera view, body key-point tracking and two six-axis robotic arms.
A preset mode provided a standard path; the free-control mode translated the user's indicated location into robotic-arm motion, keeping control visible and immediate.
AdventureX 2026: fourth place in the PAWN track, AgileX Best Real-world Implementation and Dimensional Best Application.
The two-mode structure addressed the tension between dependable execution and user agency.
The project moved the inquiry into agents from screen-based workflows toward physical control, feedback and responsibility boundaries.
